To the Students: We, the members of the Annual Staff, sincerely hope that the 1962 TIGER CLAW will help you remember this year in C.H. S., for your efforts and your participation in school activities have made this year an outstanding one. We have spent much time and effort to produce a book worthy of you, the students of Clarksville High School. Most of you don’t realize just how much time and effort are used to produce a yearbook. We begin a new book as soon as the previous one is sent to the publisher. Much of our work is done during the summer vacation. Layouts are chosen, new ideas are formulated, and ads are sold. After school starts, the big rush begins. Pages are drawn, the cover is chosen, the pictures are planned and taken, and shipments are made. There are no real vacations, for during your holidays the editor still works to produce a yearbook with full coverage of our campus life. In the years to come may this book recall the fun we've had, the friends we've made, and the ideas we've mastered. Editor Ginnie Ree Tucker
