In Volleyball, Annette Gibbs and Patty Brown made a contribution that we are all very proud of. The Future Farmers of America picked up ten proud freshmen, four who are going to state because of their outstand- ing livestock judging. Way to go Dave, Steve, Shawn, and Bryan. Kelly and Sarah, Loyal FHA'ers are going to state in April to present their out- standing Search projects. Actor Max Norvell stunned scores of people in his performance in the One- Act-Play. Other speech members include Dave, Patty, Sarah, Kevin, Ken, Butch, and Brian. Susan, Patty, Annette, Shawn, Bryan, and Max helped the Clarks band to march away with a first at Kearney. We also have three freshmen in Jazz Band, eight in Chorus and three in Swing Choir. Wrestlers Mike, Kevin, Ken are showing others what real men are made of out on the mat. In basketball, Max is a varsity starter. Meanwhile, Brian, Shawn, Dave, and Bryan are showing their stuff on junior varsity. In its simplest form anyone can plainly see that the freshmen class filled in with fifteen unique and special people. In years to come who can anticipate the un- bound achievements of this class. Top to Bottom - Butch Meyer has created a new chemical element Z- 92. Chemistry is a group effort for Kenny, Kevin, and Brian. 17 Steve and Shawn really didn't do any taste testing in chemistry.

freshmen For the 1984-85 school year we elected Kevin Helgoth, president; Annette Gibbs, vice president; and Dave Beck, secretary-treasurer. Mr. Alt and Mrs. Vyhlidal had the hon- or of being our sponsors. In their first year of football the boys helped kick-off a winning 4-0 junior varsity and a 5-3 varsity sea- son. For homecoming all the fresh- men were MAD about the Bomb- ers. They won the annual hall con- test during homecoming week. De- spite what anyone says, the judges were not bribed!
