One-acts showcase dramatic expression In March, the Clark High Drama Department presented a variety of theatrical offerings. Five one-act plays, performed by the Advanced Theater class, showed both drama and comedy acting. 'Asylum. which was used as the competition one-act in the Clark County Drama Tournament, was an abstract play which incorporated several choreographed dance sequences. The play thematically revealed man against society through numerous techniques such as a simulated crucifixion. Other plays performed included To Burn a Witch. dealing with a seventeenth century witch trial in Massachusetts, and The Indian Wants the Bronx. a play involving an Indian guru searching for his son and the two Bronx hoodlums who harrass him. On the lighter side, The Diary of Adam and Eve provided a satirical view of the first man and woman, and Lemonade created a humorous vignette of two elderly women selling lemonade along a highway. acheffa and Sandy Orofro harrass David Kasmier in Indian Wants tho Bronx. 2.
