44 Stubborn donkeys add variety to basketball Earthquake, Double Trouble. Dynamite — these and five other smelly, stubborn beasts brought laughter to the Clark audience during February's annual donkey basketball qame. They also brought sore muscles and aching bones to the riders who attempted to keep their composure — not to mention their seats — while guiding their mounts into scoring positions. Sponsored by Varsity Club, the event matched the Executive Council against the faculty, who won 10-4. The victorious teachers then challenged the Varsity Club and won a second time. 4-2. 46 Spanish Club hosts annual Girls' Reverse A typical night out enjoyed by those who attended the Girls’ Reverse included dinner, the dance, and a midnight show in a Strip hotel. The February event, sponsored annually by the Spanish Club, drew more than 200 people. A room in the Sahara Space Center provided ample room for the crowd. Celebration was the theme of the evening, which featured a mobile disco unit, the G W Sound Company. Large bunches of multi-colored, helium-filled balloons created a festive atmosphere.
