TFAC helps promote community relations In 1980. TFAC. Together For A Change, supported many worthwhile activities to promote human relations within Clark and the community. For Thanksgiving the group collected food for Thanksgiving baskets and distributed it to needy families. TFAC also awarded scholarships to two Clark students based on academic success and service to the community. During Brotherhood Week. TFAC hosted an international banquet and served foods from all countries and all cultures. To provide the community with these services. TFAC had to raise money through various activities, such as numerous car washes and bake sales. TFAC was advised this year by Mrs. Priscilla Adams. Mr. Doug Garner, and Mr. Roy Ware. Spirit Girls, a group comprised of girls from TFAC. performed at games and assemblies to soul music, providing a form of entertainment different from other dancing groups. Hispanic Club goal heritage awareness This year marked the second year in which the Hispanic Club has been at Clark. The Hispanic Club is a cultural proaram to unite the various ethnic groups of the student body into one fellowship. They held various activities throughout the year which included candy and bake sales and a luncheon for the faculty. During Christmas wook the group sold bells and sponsored a Can-U-Guess contest.
