Q OCTOBER 1, 1954 The Sophomores initiated us and gaveadance that evening in our honor. We elected our 1954 class officers. Carol Leonardson was elected Presidentg Floyd Gneiting, Vice-President, 1 Nadene Rue, Secretary-Treasurer, Linda Moore, Representativeg and Mr. Hoskins, Advisor. MARCH ll, 1955 We held our Freshman Frolic which turned out to be a huge success. SEPTEMBER 6, 1955 Our Sophomore class started a successful L ,eef year by electing the following class officers: President, Gerald Holmes: 3 Vice-President, Linda Moore, Secretary-Treasurer, Carol Leonardsong ' Reporter, Nadene Rue: Representative, Doris Jensen: and Advisor, Mr. Turley. We lost three students during our Freshman year, Marla Youngstrom, Floyd Gneiting, and Michael O'Neil but gained one student, Jess Rawson our Sophomore year. SEPTEMBER 29, 1955 We initiated the Freshman and gave a dance in their honor September 30th. FEBRUARY 4, 1956 Our candidate, Fay Wilding, was crowned, Carnival Queen of 1955-56. Her booth was decorated in a blue and MARCH 16, 1956 We held our Sophomore Hop. It proved to be a huge success both financially and in providing fun for all who 'ff attended. I gold color scheme. J SEPTEMBER 4, 1956 We assembled as Juniors and elected the following officers: President, Jess Rawson, Vice-President, Nadene Rue: Secretary and Treasurer, Carol Leonardsong Reporter, Doris Jensen, Representative, Fay Wilding, and Advisor, Mrs.Vivian Stelzer. We gained a new member, Gaye Laird, but lost her the following summer to Leland Speelmon. MARCH 8, 1957 Our Junior class play House For Sale -- Haunted was presented. It was a three-act comedy-mystery with ghosts, snakes, and spiders galore plus a tattooed man and gypsy for- tune-teller. APRIL 26, 1957 Butterfly was the theme of our Junior Prom X held in the local gymnasium which was beautifully decorated in pink and orchid. A garden and butterfly scene on the stage and a wishing well in the center of the gym carried out the theme with the Bop Kats orchestra furnishing the music. SEPTEMBER 3, 1957 We congregated as Seniors and chose the same officers as the previous year with the exception of President. For this position Gerald Holmes was elected. DECEMBER 4, 1957 We presented our Senior class play, Hot Water, a comedy in two acts. It was all about a plumber and football player who impersonated each other. MARCH 1, 1958 The Senior's sponsored a dance at Medicine Lodge. Glenn Squires orchestra furnished the music for the occasion. MAY 18, 1958 Baccalaureate was held in the Baptist church with Bishop Dale Willes as the speaker. MAY 21, 1958. Wills his desk in the English Room to Larry O'Neil along with his book in hopes he will get some good out of them. I hereby will my steady shoulder at dances to Zane Lemons and my ability to keep out of trouble to Max Hoggan and Melvin Rose. I will all my good times to Robin and hope she'll study harder than I did. I hereby will my fun of teasing girls to my brother, Jay and friend Gary Laird. I hereby will my jobs as Newspaper Editor and Student Body President to anyone who thinks they are a snap. I will my carved desks and beat up books to my little sister, Sandra in hopes she can use them better than I did., Wills her many 14D years in high school to her little sisters hoping they will have as much fun as she did. Also she wills the job of cheerleading to them too, hoping they will get as much enjoyment out of it as she did. Wills his piano playing ability to Max Hoggan in hopes Max will be able to lure the girls by beautiful music as Dennis did. I will all my books to Ailene and Karlene in hopes they study them harder than I did. mixed-up minds we take pen in hand and gladly sign our names to will away our most uncherished possessions. z o A J.
