Boys and girls of all sizes and ages meet five days a week, nine months a year to further their know- ledge and learn the knack of getting along with others. School is an important factor in the development ofwell-rounded person- alities and characters. Students are required to take certain academic subjects and are then encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities such as plays and newspaper and yearbook work. To add color and flavor to school life there are the ro- mances and friendships that come and go, parties, and of course, dances. A Thinking of all this and the Clark County students we chose School Days in Clark County as the theme throughout this 1958 Bobcat Annual. til JJ A 3CE3i3E3il632M3iM3E3.Qi3EM3X3QE3i3E3E3i3XXEM32 1 M1 1' Aww, '.::-hw. . 5-M x D I f I A 1 1 ,rim v U Vp. - 4 w lin. One decade has passed since this class graduated from Clark High and Miss Hecate has followed each of their actions through the marvelous assistance of Jetnek, the atomic satellite. Senior President, Gerald Holmes, is still a confirmed bachelor with much time on his hands. His prosperous business, coon trapping, has brought in much dough-ra-me. Gerald hopes that the Congressmen will con- tinue to wear coon skin hats so his sales will remain high. Senior Vice-President, Nadene and her husband Gaylen canbe found in an elegant glass house centered in the growing metropolis of Dubois. Nadene is head of the corporation that manufactures hair pins for bald people and has sold well over the millionth pin. in the mining a hole to bury a charcoal-burned cake when she ran onto a metal, phosphorus-uranium used in the manufacture of space ships. Vic and Linda fMoorel Christensen are now engaged business. Soon after they were married Linda was digging Dennis Johnston soon took over Mr. Tavenner's job and is now janitor at Clark High. Dennis became the idol of every housewife in the country when he invented a new window-washing device. Ebert and Fay lWildingl Book are now settled on a big ranch in Texas. They own a thousand head of Quarter Horses and two dogs. Nancy Stelzer is now doing very well for herself in a wildwest show which travels from town to town. At the present she is shooting cigarettes from her fifth husband's mouth. Nancy occasionally slips, though, and becasuse of this had rather bad luck with her other four husbands. Jess and Marie tO'NeilJ Rawson are now settled deep in the heart of Texas. Jess owns a large cattle spread and is presently teaching Marie and their six red-headed children the tricks of the trade. I really need not say much of Doris Jensen as most of you are probably as well acquainted with her life happenings as I am. Doris is now the most talked about movie actress of the satellite age. She and her husband, Elvis still come to Dubois on their vacations. Brent Black is also a big celebrity now. Through his travels in space he met and fell in love with a gal on the plant Mars and they are married. I will give Brenta little publicity and ask you to please vote for him for Presi- dent of the Rocketfeller Ship Company. And lastly we have Hecate Carmelalias Carol Leonardson, Senior Class Secretary and Treasurer. Miss Hecate Carol just zooms around onher satel- lite, Jetnek, gathering all news that isn't for anyone who isn't. lf you hear a beep beep you know she is hanging around. It all seems very strange and wonderful when you think about the places fate has led this graduating Class of 1958.
