Junior Cass Histor We started as Freshmen on September 2, 1952. As most of us had gone ta school here all our life we knew our way around pretty well. We were initiated and given a dance by the Sophomores soon after school started. There were twenty-one members, the largest ever to enter Clark County High School. Our officers were: President,Ronald Terrill, Vice-President,Selma Willians, Secretary-Treasurer, Elaine Rasmussen, Reporter, Karol Jeffery, Class Represent- ative, Robert McCarten, and Advisor Mr. Hodges. The other members were: Jerry Hoopes, Bill Colson,Jay youngst1om,Carl Doschades, Arlyce Kunz, Spence Stoddard, Evert Stevens, Joe Wilson, Charles Wilson, Juanita Rose, Betty Holden, Ursula Kareowsld., Lilah RFU-Ile, Beatrice Hoopes,Karen Bennett,and Marilynn Sill. Arlyce moved away soon after school began and Charles dropped out. We finished our first year of high school successfully and had nineteen members left. The Freshman Fzolic was held in February after a basketball gene with Arco. A History Class Picnic with the Sophomores was held up Medicine Lodge Cmyon, MW 114, 1953. The Freshmm Clus went to Idaho Falls to see the movie Ivanhoe which corresponded with our English Literature Class. When we started our Sophomore year, there were twenty-three members. Our officers were: President, Bob McCarten, Vice-President, Betty Holden, Secretary- Treasurer, Elaine Rasmussen, Reporter, Ibsemary Hansen, Representative, Ronald Terrillg and Advisor, Mr. lbdges. We gained Dean Gneiting amd Rosemary Hansen and soon after school started we lost Evert Stevens. The others were the sane. On September 7, the Junior Class of Sh-S started with twenty-three members. Our officers ares President, Marilynn Sill, Vice-President, Betty Holden, Secretary-Treasurer, Elaine Rasmussen, Representative, Ronald Terrill, Reporter, Beverly Boyce, and Advisor, Mr. Allred, We gained Beverly Boyce, Ruby Zweifel, and Kay Casper and lost Ebb McCarten, Karen Bennett and Evert Stevens. After the Christmas Holidqs Selma and Ursula returned to school with engagement rings. Gary Grimmett and Jack Haderlie are the lucky fellows. ' On February 28, we received our class rings. We are very pleased with them. We decided on our Junior Play. The name of it is 'Everybodyg Crazy, by Jay Tobias. It was Presented March 25. The story is about three young fellows Who buy a haunted hotel and the people who come to stq there. The cast iss Herb Stanley, Ronald Terrill, Elmer Sneed, Bill Colson, TommyWi1ld.ns, Dean Gneiting, Willian Bates, Jerry lbopes, Ketura Katt, Selma Willians, Julie Mather, Juanita Rose, Mrs. Spooner, Beatrice Hoopes, Godfrey Van Gordon, Joe Wilson, Caroline Van Gordon, Karol Jeffery, Celia Van Gordon, Elaine Rasmussen, Aden Pottle, Spence Stoddard, Libby Inn, Ursula Karwowski, Gladiola Jackson, Ibsemarv Hansen, Jasper Flukes, Carl Doschades, The Messenger Boy, Jq Ioungstzom md The Ghost, ?????????. Our pmmpters were Marilynn Sill and Lilah Fayle. Betty Holden and Beverly Hayce were ushers, Ruby Zweifel took tickets md Beverly and Afton Boyce sang between the acts. It waa a good play and we all enjoyed work- ing on it. Our Junior Prom was held on April 8, with the theme 'Easter Parade' md decorated in Easter decor. Lynn Jensen gave us our music. The whole Junior Class would like to thank Hr. George Allred for all the wonderful help and support he has given us all during the year md especially during the plq and Pmm.
