enior Prophecy When I arrived in Dubois on May 20, 1965, I learned that the Seniors of 'SS were having their ten year reunion. I remember that class well md the good old times they used to have in Old Clark High. There was always something going on as the whole class was really full of heck.If it wasn't hockey at LidysCor some- where elseb it was a friendly gane of poker in the library. As I strolled about the town, I noticed that some of the Seniors had already arrived and were beginning to gather at the school. As I gazed down the road, I saw three big clouds of dust. It seemed to be a race. As they whizzed past me I noticed in the lead was a huge Cadillac full of beautiful girls md driven by Bruce Laird. He finally realized his lifes dream, but then as he went on I nn- ticed the girls all had that I.a:lni twinkle in their eye. Ion kmw, I'm nearly sure they were his daughters. Close on his tail was a flash of red hair in a little red and white car.Don still had his put,put of high school days. Far off in the distance I saw a large group of spectators on the side lines, and all were mating for Donnie. He still hasn't settled down to one girl!!! As Don's car becane a cloud of dust there was another cloud coming close be- hind. To my surprise it was Benny, who had become World Champion All Around Cow- boy on his faithful pony Pspper. He was still a lone cowboy and just as con- tented as ever. The girls didn't enter into this kind of sport so I decided they would be at the school house admiring Valerie and her latest outfit from Paris, for she had been traveling on the continent for the past ten years Csay, that Island Park Lodge must really pay big money 0 md had returned home for this reunion. Standing next to Valeria were Rea and Afton Boyce who have progressed in their ambitions as nurses. Rea is now a Registered Nurse and Afton is a Dental Assistant. Afton is mrried is Dale Hill, md is nursemaid to a pair of twins.Rea is married to Alvin Rack and has six children. They both live in Pocatello. AJ.1 of a sudden there was a great clatter and bang from the corner. I turned amund and to nv surprise there were the boys of Donna and Jim, and Delores and Spence, fighting over the cigar butt they found :Ln the waste basket. I then saw their little girls admiring each others new dresses. Donna and Jim, and Delores md Spence are all living out west. Thomas' on Indian Creek Bench ,and Stoddards on the Blue Creek Ranch. Last, but not least, Carol Rosefliunterlcane in the door. She always was late Carol and Edward are riding herd on their twelve kids on a spacious ranch in Kil- gore, Csince the sheep ranch went to pot.D She, too, had realized her lifes de- sire. As I walked out the cbor their class Advisor, Coach Cagle was stmding up to open the meeting. Towering above him was his 16 year old son, Rick. Chris had developed him into an All Star Football Player. Maybe he had outgrown his dad in height, but he certainly had his fathers football shoulders. As I closed the door behind me, they were just beginning the meeting so I left the Seniors of '55.
