On the 9th of December 1949 we put on two one-act plays. The names of these were An Orange Colored Necktie and A Lemon Pie for Andy. On the 18th of November 1949 we held our Junior Jump. Our Junior Class advisor was Mr. Hodges. During the years of 1948-1949 we were Sophonores. We held our Sophomore Hop on October 29th. The students from Spencer, Kilgore and Medicine Lodge Canyon, because of the consolidation of schools, started omn- ing to Clark High. Our new students were Louise Bennett, Dorothy Vadnais, Berneice Jensen, Harry Lapioli, Wendell Wagoner and Lucy Hatch, during the latter half of the year, along with students who started high school with usg they were Gloria Doschades, John Hennan, DeWayne Hodges, Norman Johnston, Ed Laird, Judy Laird, June O'Nei1, Don Shenton and Jim Wilson. In the fall of 4'7 Janie Barney, Gloria Doschades, John Henman, Dewayne Hodges, Norman Johnston, Judy Laird, Lorena Landacre, June O'Neil, Leo Robbins, Don Shenton and Jim Wilson started our enrollment as freshmen into high school. Louise Bennett was attending school that year at Wisner, Nebraska, Dorothy Vadnais and Harry Lapioli at Spencer, Berneice Jensen at Sugar City, Wendell Wagoner at Battle Mountain, Nevada and Lucy Hatch at Driggs. As freshmen at Dubois High we had two main class act- ivities that year and these were our Freshman Frolic and our initiation. t my f 4 5 13

SENIOR CLASS On May 13, 1951, Baccaluareate was held in the L.L.3. Church at Dubois, Idaho. On the 18th day of May, nineteen hundred and fifty-one at 8:00 p.m. in the Clark County High School Gymnasium 15 seniors graduated. Ed Laird was President, DeWayne Hodges Vice President and Louise Bennett Secretary-Treasurer. Others were Harry Lapioli, Berneice Jensen, Gloria Dos- chades, Judy Laird, Wendell Wagoner, Dorothy Vadnais, Don Shenton, June Lemons, Lucy Thomas, Berdell McCurdy, Norman Johnston, and John Henman. The girls wore white caps and gowns with blue tassels and the boys wore blue caps and gowns with white tassels. Blue and White were our senior class colors. Gloria Doschades gave the Valedictorian address and Nor- man Johnston gave the Salutatorian address, Songs were sung and the Commencement address was de- livered. Awards were presented. On November 17th, we held our last class dance, the Senior Ball. The theme of it was 'Stars Are the Windows of Heaven.' The gymnasium was decorated with blue and white crepe paper. Glen Squires Orchestra played for the occasion and was located in the middle of the south end of the floor. Ed. Laird, our class President and Susanne Riley led the promenade. Refreshments were served by the senior's mothers in the home economics room. Mr. Parrow was our senior class advisor. The Junior Class consisted of Harry Lapioli, Louise Bennett, Gloria Dosohades, John Henman, DeWayne Hodges, Ber- neice Jensen, Norman Johnston, Ed Laird, Judy Laird, Berdell McCurdy, June O'Neil, Don Shenton, Dorothy Vadnais, Wendell Wagoner, Jim Wilson, and LucyfHatch. We held our Junior Prom April 21, 1950. The theme of it was Lilac Time. The gymnasium was decorated with pur- ple and white streamers. 03 q We '. 4 12
