C.E.C Council for Exceptional Children is a professional organization for anyone interested in working with special people. Among C.E.C. ' s activities this year were special guest speakers, weekly visits to Polk, a convention in Philadelphia, a Halloween Party, and a Christmas Party held in conjunction with NSSHA. NSSHA The National Student Speech and Hearing Association is open to anyone interested in speech and communicative disorders. NSSHA ' s involvement for 1978-79, included a field trip to Gallaudet College in Washington, D.C., a seminar on language assessment and intervention, fund-raising programs, conventions, monthly meetings with guest speakers, and our annual spring banquet. Anthropology Association The Clarion State College Anth- ropology Association was founded to give students the opportunity to participate in anthropological and archaeological research. Circle F The Circle F Club is the French Club at Clarion State College. The purpose of the club is to inform the local schools and surrounding communities of the French people and their culture. Activities of the past year included: a Xenophile banquet, participation in International Afternoon, and aided in sponsoring a visit of the Vice Consul to the Consulate of Canada.
