ZEBRA STAFF After many hours of hard, but interesting work the once bewildered staff of the '52 Zebra can at last sit back and rest with the feeling of mission accomplished. Had it not been for Beatrice and Betty, seated by the typewriter, who were burning up the keys on the machine, our book could not have been completed. Seated next to Betty are Shirley and Steve, the musicians of the group, who are greatly responsible for the music section of the Zebra. Next, is Lowell, our business manager who has taken care of our advertising section, and peering over His shoulder with an astonished look on her face is Mrs. Sallie McGinnis, our reliable sponsor who straightened us out when we became confused and cut some pictures too small or put the wrong copy with the wrong page. Seated next to Lowell is yours truly, editor of the '52 Zebra. Standing behind me and seated beside me are Dick and Bill, the ones who laid out most of the sports section. Much credit goes to the four musketeers standing in the left hand corner. They are Betty, Sarah, Margaret and Marlene. These girls wrote most of the by lines and little squibs of poetry throughout the book and worked wherever they were needed. Seated in front of them are Ann and Frances who also worked and were willing to work anytime they were asked. Last but not least are the three with their picture plastered on the front of the desk. They are Rose Ellen, Joan, and Irma Lee who kept us cheered up with their humor and are also responsible for the limericks in the senior section. With deepest sincerity I would like to thank the staff, the journalism classes, Doug Anderson, our school photographer, every one else who made the ’52 2 bra possible and above all Mrs. McGinnis who bestowed the honor of editor upon me. It is an honor I shall never forget. Editor, The Zebra ’52
