For now, once again, fhis valley has come fo fhe foreground and has fhe eyes of fhe world upon if. For here are 'fhe lands, fhe green valleys, fhe unfamed power needed fo build a 'rhriving mefropolis. So once again we are in fhe news. The firsf fime was in Fremon+'s day when California was being faken from fhe Spaniards, and fhen again in fhe gold rush days, men pushed ouf here fo make fheir forfunes and build a greaf new sfafe from sand and sagebrush,-California 'rhe sfafe wifh fhe colorful hisfory and fhe brighf fufure. Each year brings differenf experiences, more fun, and draws us closer fogefher unfil af Iasf as Seniors, we can look back and laugh among ourselves, look forward wifh deferminafion fo new worlds fo explore. II DEVELOPMENT Athletics Hard dangerous living made fhe explorers sfrong and healfhy. We develop our sfrengfh and endurance by fackling, sprinfing, and wielding fhe fennis rackef and we, like fhey, develop more fhan fhaf - sporfsmanship, courage, and friendliness fhrough winning, losing and practicing day affer day fogefher.
