Band Spurs Fun and Interest Custer would have been proud of this courageous band as they marched in rainy cold weather, and en- dured Mr. McAdam's jokes! This year the Thunder- bird band artici ated in various activities. The la P P Y P Y' ed at the state fair and at parades in Arkansas City and Benton. Besides performing at home football and bas- ketball games, they traveled to each grade school and provided entertainment. Flag girls were an added attraction to the band in the football halftime marching shows. They played music to suit all tastes and several patriotic pieces honoring the 1976 Bicentennial year. Band.
