T-Eirds put it together for The 1976-77 Circle High Thun- derbirds compiled a season record of 12 wins and 9 losses, with a league record of 7-6, The season wasn't fantastic yet many surprises took place. They upset the state ranked ElDorado Wildcats 77-58, which was the highlight of the year. The team also placed third in the Valley Center Invitational Tournament, Ken Dimick was Voted to the all tournament first team and Mike Howery and Tim White were voted honorable men- tion. They ended the season with a 58-52 loss to Buhler in the sub- state tournament. The T-Birds surprised many people throughout the season, al- though the record doesn't show it they lost many heart-breakers. Throughout the year the basket- ball team represented the school and community extremely well in the Chislom Trail League , and the two tomnaments they were in- volved in.
