They were able to organ- ize themselves to design and construct the First Place Homecoming Float with- out the aid of class officers. They also placed first in the Ugly Man Contest sponsored by the T-Bird Staff. Many Freshmen showed their school spirit by joining Debate, trying out for the All- School Play, and participating in the various sports, and clubs.
