Kaye , yettes Ce.pt'ure Interest The Kayettes have rounded-up a number of things in the past year. The first thing they did was have a Powder puff football game, in which the Seniors and Sophomores defeated the Juniors and Freshmen. The Highlight of being in Kay- ettes is to become the Snowball Princess. The December 1976 Snowball Princess was Karen Hen- ry, attendants were Nancy Wilson, Tammy Jackson, Verla Bennett, and Mary Jo Lill. Blue and Gold Squads Spur On T-Birds This year the cheerleaders continued their win- ning ways. They Went to the University of Kansas for the American Cheerleaders Federation camp. They Won many awards including the Spirit Award. In addition to attending all the varsity games, they also had a kissing booth on Fifties Day. They also decorated the locker rooms before games. The Kays were very active this year. They spon- sored Cheerleaders for the Powderpuff football game, and had many money raising projects.
