The speech and debatebrgan- izations have seen the start of sev- eral new programs along with the expansion of previously existing programs. This was the first suc- cessful year that Circle particip- ated in debate with the first Circle debate tournament held. The forensics team entered S invitational tournaments and won third place at the Circle Invitational. Mike Dunham, Cindy Part- ridge, Gregg Woodall, Brad Den- ton, Bob Nellans and Candy Payne placed in individual tournaments and qualified for the state tournament.
