Floyd L. Hansen brought the mes- sage. May 18, The Commence- ment Ceremonies took place. Valedictorian Larry Burnett spoke on Reflections on Living. Brad- ley Denton, Salutatorian, brought a speech on My Own Ideas. There were 93 who gaduated from the Class of 1976.

Graduation highlights Senior year Honored with scholarships from Southwestern College were Larry Burnett and Richard Sisson. Kan- sas University recognized Brad Denton as the Summerfield and Watkins Berger Scholar. Pam Mc- Lean received from the Skelly Oil Foundation a scholarship. 1. Valedictorian Larry Burnett, Salutatorian Brad Denton. 2. TOP TEN SENIORS. FRONT ROW: Linda Bowen, Doris Paschal, Cheri Cannata, Theresa Engels, Jocelyn Johnson. BACK ROW: Randy Leimer, Larry Burnett, Larry Gurney, Brad Denton, Dixie Tilton. 3. Seniors line up for graduation practice. 4. Bruce Ratzlaff and Criss Rick- erson smile at the camera during practice. 5. Seniors listen to Rev. Floyd Hansen deliver the Baccalaureate message. Winning the Betty Crocker Family Leader of Tomorrow award was Jocelyn Johnson. Dixie Tilton won the Bicentennial Seniors Cer- tificate of Recognition in Tele- vision Script Writing and Leadership. Lori Watson was selected to sing with the Kansas Music Edu- cators All- State Chorus. In the National Merit Scholar- ship contest Brad Denton was a semi-finalist, and Jocelyn Johnson received a commendation.
