Last Will and Testament We the Senior Class of Churchland High School, being of sound mind and body, do declare this to be our last will and testament, making null and void all former wills made by us. We do hereby state that all our debts and expenses be paid by our executor who is herein named: We make the following bequests: Item One: To the Juniors, we leave our never ceasing struggle to survive through the dreadful tragedy of Macbeth. Item Two: To the Sophomores, we bequeath our ever flowing fountain of knowledge which we, as Seniors, have never found time to exploit to its fullest extent. Item Three: To the Freshman, we leave the great dignity and unsurpassed wisdom collected by us during our sojourn CC Page 2391 VVebster's Unabridged Dictionaryl at Churchland High. Use it carefully, kids, itis our most cherished pos- session Item Four: To the faculty, we leave peace and quiet, which will come with our departure. Item Five: I, Bobby Cullen, leave the headaches of the SCA to any poor sucker who is unlucky enough to receive it. Item Six: I, Helen Dail, leave to Barbara Figart my flare for acting discovered by Miss Gracie Lee Van Dyck when she cast me as Effie.', Item Seven: I, Lottie Hudson, bequeath my small waist to Betty Huffington and my natural blonde hair to Jean Skidmore. Item Eight: I, Janet Robinson, leave to the school my big brother, Rocky. Item Nine: I, Sanford Chapman, leave my classroom insomiai' to Ernie Floyd. Item Ten: I, NIarion Vaughan, leave my shy and quiet nature to NIargaret Pat- terson with the fond hopes that it may be used by her someday in the near future. Item Eleven: I, John Everett Holland, leave my persecution complex to John Kirchmier in hopes that he will carry it on. Item Twelve: I, Elsie Young, leave my history notes to Cvene Carthwright. I also leave to him my power of comprehension in order that he may read and understand them. Item Thirteen: I, Billy Williams, leave all my knowledge of leading the band to Patsy Bush. Item Fourteen: I, Betty Whittaker, leave to IVIartha, my sister, my able brain to be used to maintain the high scholastic average established in this school by the WVhittaker family. Item Fifteen: I, Billy IValters, leave all my love', for Mir. Pawlowski to Bill Lane. Item Sixteen: I, Lorraine Harrison, leave my ability to make good grades in Chemistry to my sister, Charlotte. Item Seventeen: I, james Hall, leave my great ability of being pest and baby to James Deaton. Item Eighteen: I, Mary Lois Bowling, leave to Miss Gibbs, the wonderful thought that she will never have another Bowling as librarian 6th period. Item Nineteen: I, Ronald E. Wilkie, leave to the freshman boys my backward- ness and my ability to be bashful around the girls. Item Twenty: I, Lerline Lemoine, leave to the students of Churchland High School my ability to keep quiet in the halls and in class.

Last Will and Testament-Confirmed Item Twenty-One: I, Troy Carter, leave to Ronnie Collier, my ability to be a successful quarterback. Item Twenty-Two: I, Carol Thomas, leave my ability to carry a tune, to Tommy Hall in hopes that he will sing sweet melodies wisely and wish him in 1952 the best of luck. Item Twenty-Three: I, Billy Koon, leave to Churchland High the rambling wreck of '49 CBus No. 661 and the wish for mercy on the next driver. Item Twenty-Four: WVe, the gang of Lunch table No. 4, realize it is the usual rule to leave ability and knowledge to some member of the incoming class, but con- trary to custom, we feel, we would like to take with us the wisdom of one Betty Reynolds. Item Twenty-Five: I, Nlarguerite Grant, leave my good conduct grades to Louis Slade in hopes that he will live up to them. Item Twenty-Six: I, IVIary Ellen INIoody, leave my history grades to lVIargaret Vann. Item Twenty-Seven: I, jean Ann Young, leave my ability to be lazy and get away with it to Hommie Nlanning, in hopes that he will carry it through. Item Twenty-Eight: I, Dot Adams, leave my desk that sits so hard to some un- fortunate junior. Item Twenty-Nine: I, Ann lXfIangum, leave to Nancy Madison all the responsi- bilities and hard work of keeping Tommy Hall quiet in the library. ItemThi1-ty: I, Harry fBoyJ Lovett, leave my bubble gum to Gene Skinner in hopes that he will make good use of it. Item Thirty-One: I, Joyce Upton Hathaway, leave some of my feminine appeal to Daniel Boone. Item Thirty-Two: I, Doris Lee Kowalski, leave my empty head to Lake Westfall, in hopes that he will use it as I did. Item Thirty-'I'hree: I, Jackie Graham, leave to Patsy Taylor my slimness. Item Thirty-Four: To the school, We of the Senior Class, leave our excellent example as students.
