Last Will and Testament We, the Senior Class of Churchland High School, being of sound mind and body, do declare this to be our last will and testament, making null and void all former wills made by us. We do hereby state that all our debts and expenses are to be paid by our execu- tor who is herein named. We make the following bequests: Item One: To the Juniors, we leave our knowledge, our ability to get along with the teachers, our love for English literature and our beloved units on Macbeth. Item Two: To the Freshman Class, we leave our ability to get out of class, our sophistication and our ability to be patient with trying teachers. Item Three: To the Eighth Grade, we leave the hope that they too, will some- day grow up. Item Four: To the faculty we leave Harry Eovett. Item Five: To Dot Adams, Barbara Oldfield leaves her quiet dignity. Item Six: To Tommy Hall, Richard Ehrhart leaves his ability to play basket- ball and get along with the coach. Item Seven: I, Jean Dawson, leave my English grades to Harry Lovett, so he will some day get out. Item Eight: To Bobby Vaughan, Richard Bruckse leaves his nose. Item Nine: I, Arlene McDonald leave my “Malibu Tan” powder to Lorraine Harrison. Item Ten: I, Joanne McCurry, leave my ability to play basketball to Janet Veon, and would like to ask her not to abuse it. Item Eleven: I, Tommy Meads, leave my ability to get out of Miss Massey’s class to Jimmy Robinson. Item Twelve: I, Kay Hight, leave my sister June, to uphold the high standards of the Hight name. Item Thirteen: I, John Gorman Fleming, leave all my women in the care of John Holland. Item Fourteen: I, Joyce McNulty Fleshman, leave to one William Jean, my ability to be bold around others. Item Fifteen: I, Carol Carwright, leave my blondness, derived from that famous formula H2 02, to some poor innocent underclassman. Item Sixteen: I, Howard Sivils, leave all the headaches of the S. C. A. to Bobby Cullen. Item Seventeen: I, Rebecca Vaughn, leave my ability to hate men to Shirley Crawford, in hope that she’ll put it to good use. Item Eighteen: I, Barbara Hunt, leave all my classes to go home. Item Nineteen: To the school, we of the Senior Class Class leave 1 ! ! We nominate and appoint Miss Freddie Ann Butt to be the executor of this, our last will and testament, with full authority to carry out all of its provisions to the utmost effect. In testimony whereof, we have set our bonds and seal this first day of June, A. D., 1949. {Signed) Class of 1949 Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above Class of 1949 as their last will and testament in the presence of us who have here unto subscribed our names as witnesses at their request, in the presence of the said testatrix and of each other. {Signed) Frank D.
