Standing: Donna Karren, Jean Rost, Bill Bright, Perhaps because they know they are going into a world that is neither bright nor carefree. the seniors this year have been willing to sit and take life easy and let the rest of the school worry about unimportant details. They were making plans for their Sadie Hawkins dance as the 1945 Lahontan went to press. Although hampered by the lack of sugar for the cakes they want to serve and by the shortage of lumber for proposed Skunk Hollow cottages, the seniors assured us their hop would top even the Frosh party. Quiet, genial Charlie York has been session room teacher for the graduates. Although he's had some difficulty in selling stamps and bonds, he's always finally won 100 per cent cooperation from all the 1945 seniors. 194 Q05 . .
