VOCATHJ.AL Benefits of Vocational Education are no longer limited to traditional cour- ses for youth. The vision of Today and of the Fu- ture is to make the school available to adults, as well as youth, when they have problems the school can help them solve to the ben- efit of themselves and the community. Today's problems call for new courses such as How to Grow a Victory Garden, Food Preserva- tion by Dehydration, In- creasing Poultry Produc- tion, Repairing Farm Ma- chinery, Farm Wiring for Electricity, How to Oper- ate Business Machines, and How to Teach an Em- ployee. Who can tell what should be taught tomor- row? Perhaps it should be 'llncome Tax Recording and Reporting, Farm Bookkeeping, How to Get More for Your Money, Home Decoration, How to Rear Happy Children, Balancing Rations for L i v e s t o c k, Salesman- ship, or Farm Leader- ship. If the need arose would it be absurd or vi- sionary to teach Synthetic Rubber Production, In- creasing Soybean Produc- tion, Typing with one I-land, 'How to Fly a He- liocopter, Selling Plastic Cars and Houses, or How to See the World in Two Week's Vacation? VVhat- ever the needs may be in the future the individual should remember to come to the school for help. EDUCATHJ lf you Villll buy zi power riiowc-r, learn liow to bu IJIIP.
