FIRESIDE CIRCLE Climaxing their year's work, Fireside Circle girls enter- tained their mothers and eighth grade girls and their moth- ers at a spring festival and style show in April. Mothers ot' members were honored guests at an installation ceremony. The group made commando dolls for the A.W.V.S. The girls prepared a banquet for the F'.F.A. and mothers ot' the F.F.A. boys, and a banquet for the vocational heads. They sold pop at all home basket and football games, the proceeds from which helped buy war bonds for the group. They also bought and made drapes and luncheon cloths for the home ec rooms. Members ot' the group enjoyed several informal social events during the year. Pins were awarded to members of the club who earned two hundred points for work during the year. Fireside Circle girls include any who are taking or who have taken home economics. Miss Ruth Proctor is their advisor.
