HIGH FRESHME We took our first step toward school domination when we elected the Napoleon of the freshman class, Nick Holt, as our manager. Nick has managed to sneak in - and out - of a good many tight spots to keep us informed as to what was cooking at school. So capable did we become we planned and put over a Leap Year dance by ourselves. We were sorry Mr. Johnson was home ill and couldn't enjoy the party, but we felt pretty smug over the efficient way we managed it. Geno Steve and Robert Madsen brought us glory by winning their football letters almost before we realized weld reached high school. Our names have padded several honor lists. Now that the school year's almost over, we feel like vet- erans and wonder whatever made us nervous last fall. We no longer fear a demerit, we know where all the rooms are, and we even speak to senior men and women as if we lived on the same earth as they. Mr. Nelson got us started on the right foot first semester during session, and his work was nobly carried out by Mr. White during the second semester.
