We had so much fun. l thinlf we all really worlsed together well. -senior Pam Ash The actors dd a wonderfuljob. sophomore Kim Henry The hrst oct put me to sleep, but l thought the second act was good, junior Steve Grohol Blithe Spirit was extraordnary, a great way to start the season. -senior Chris Jarvis l felt as fooish as l looked but it was fun, senior Kim Cherry lt was fun and worth the worlf. sophomore Celeste LoMn The acting was generally good aualty but the play itself wasn't any good. junior Curtis Plunls Noel Coward had too many double bran- des when he wrote it. -senior Lauren Wenzel l taught my sister everything she lfnows, freshman Marls Wenzel The play was a blast! -sophomore George Hnnelly 'Yr was a very dfhcult play and l thought they put on a very professional performance. -Director Gay Monteverde 'Dlthe Spirit is the story of a British author, Charles Condomine, who invites a medum over to get material for a boolf. The ghost of his dead wife, Evita, is called bacls. The rest of the play refs of his problems trying to get rid of Hvira and convince his present wife, Ruth, of his sanity. Hviras plan to lfill Charles and bring him to the spirit world with her is fotied when Ruth is killed by mistake. Charles is happy because he is Unally free of domlneering women. 'Bithe Spitit was drected by Ms. Gay Monteverde with Rene Hunter as student rj- rector.
