Students need more than academics, they need physical activity, Our part is to see that Johnny isn't dull and hopefully we provide some of that' Department Head Mr Tam Rollman feeb that PE. is a vital part of education, because it allows a healthy physical and mental release Mr Rollman feels that organization is the biggest mqor change in his department this year, All PE, teachers have been organized in an attempt to reduce tardiness. They follow a much more rigid time schedule than previously. Mr. Rollman added that Chugialf has the largest variety af PE courses offered in the district. This year, gymnastics and tennis were very popular. These classes, however, are seasonal and the class that has been consistently full all year is weight training. The popularity of this class is explained by Instructor Mr. Harry McDonald: l think it is intuitively obvious, even to the most casual observer, that there is an overabundance of fat people roaming the halls. He goes on to say that people are starting to become aware of their boches, and are trying to improve them.
