The Musrang defears were over Dimond Barrleri, and Easr, rwice, Service was rheir roughesr opponenr, Co'Caprains David Hamilron and Todd Brannon led rhe ream in an arrempr ra hnish in fhe rap four in rhe Region and season. Alrhough rhe ream placed sixrh in rhe Region, Head Coach Don Bernard and Assisfanr Coaches Bob Huke and Kenny Knechr were impressed wirh rhe neverfenclng iighring spirir. The ream was also marked io be a very aggressive group, while ako execuring very clean hockey, as ir had rhe fewesr penalries of any one ieam in rhe league. The season ended wirh a banauer ar Coach Don Bernards house. The Mosr Improved Player was Chuck Bryanr. The Donny Uher Award wenr ro Senior Richie Philips and rhere were rvvo Mosi Valuable Playersf Todd Brannon and David Hamilran, who also received rhe honor of making All Conference Hockey for rhe 1979-'80 season.
