,um- ar M.W, i , ,,.LL M, Drama lub The Drama Club's goal was to teach students the responsibilities of creat- ing a whole production. The aim was to get more students interested in Drama especially students who did not get into the drama class this year. A car wash and a Halloween bake sale allowed Drama Club members to pre- sent such productions as: Out of the Frying Pan, in February and in De- cember, The Almost Lack of Christmas, written by former Cholla student James Blunt. A special note of thanks goes to Rosemarie Copper for her help with bake sales and her donation of various items for the productions. Job For Arizona Graduates Jobs for Arizona Graduates was adopted at Cholla in 1982 to assist stu- dents in preparing for jobs after gradu- ation. The club consisted of 31 seniors who were undecided about what they Want to do after graduation, or need more information about careers, colleges or the military, before making a career decision. Club members learned deci- sion-making, goal setting, responsibility, employment and communication skills which were vital in the job market. Class officers were Presidents - Cathy Bel- tran and David Garcia, Vice President - Elizabeth Cowan, Secretaries - Anthony Sherman and Grace Granillo and Treasurers - Anna Herrera, Sheila Blanton, Eulalia Gaston and Ja- nice Scott. Doughnut sales, Christmas ornaments, candy and rummage sales have been used to provide money for the club.ClubAdvisorMrs.Tina Benitez stated, Most if not all students can hold a steady job.
