Assembly Highlight The goal of the Student Council was to provide the best assemblies and organize the Student Council to the best of their capabilities. Student Body President Ve- ronica Fields decided her personal goals were to get involved in Student Council, take action, and to stop complaining about things. The sports were covered in seasonal as- semblies which were held in the amphith- eater and the auditorium. Veronica stated, When we planned the assemblies we brainstormed, prioritized, and listened to everyone's opinion. The administration, however, had final approval of all plans. 8 E Taking Action 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist - Boxer Paul Gonzalez appears as a guest speaker on campus Nov. 7 during a 6th period assembly.
