142 Chollaires Awarded Superior The special performances by the Chollaires included Christmas con- certs at San Xavier Mission, Tucson Mall, and Levy's at the Foothills Mall. The Fall Potluck and concert was held in the Cholla Cafeteria. The Chol- laires also participated in Spring musicals and two showcase perfor- mances in May. Lisa Carriere and Tony Golden received Superior rat- ings on their Solofensernble contest at the University of Arizona in January. In the same contest the Chollaires also were awarded Superior Ratings. There were 9 returning Chollaires this year, and 10 expected for next year who were Denise Armenta, Veronica Esquibel, Tim Garcia, Carolyn Haucke, J ona Hodlicka, Alex McKen- na, James Ouellette, Tony Palma, Glen Parks, and Ramses Stevens. The parents involved in the Booster Club were President - Vola Carriere, Sec.!Treas. - Jane Aycottg Bill and Shelly Armstrong, Keiko Brown and Mrs. Ouellette.
