Mr. Neil Fishler decided to become a Band Director because he likes work- ing with students and has been teaching band for three years. He previously taught at Catalina, and The University of Arizona. The music performed this year was a selection from the musical The West Side Story. The titles were, TONIGHT, MARIA, MAMBO SOME- WHERE and AMERICA. Each student practiced five days a week during school and three hours a night once a Week. Drum Majors Lori Anderson fSeniorJ and CJuniorJ Andy Obregon assisted Mr. Fishler. The band received an Excel- lent rating on Band Day at The Universi- ty of Arizona on November 3rd, 1984.
