ath Pod Math is the most requested subject students at Cholla were taking. Now that the computer age has arrived, more students are becoming interest- ed in computers. There is also a fairly new method being used. As freshmen come into the department they are tested to deter- mine what classes they are ready to take. There are still some problems to be solved. For instance, overcrowded classes and a shortage of books and desks. Department Head Sam Westmoreland hoped that these problems would soon be solved. The teachers in this pod included Kathy Lackow, Ira Lackow, Walt Fenstermacher, Janice Welchert, Kathie Miller, Dick Hugunin, Dave Baker, and Judy Long.
