Q, SENIOR CLASS PLAY-The senior class play, The Late Christopher Bean, presented on lVIay 19, was a creditable piece of humor by Sidney Howard. 'lihis drama was exceptionally amusing, clever, and hilar- ious, yet beneath it all lay the interesting, complicated lives of the Haggett family and their maid, the lovable and simple Abby. Excellent portrayals were played of every character in the script by the senior cast. ' vawa - During the twenty-two years that Mr. Louis Regis has directed instrumental music at Chisholm, he has established a fine reputation an an able director of the band, orchestra and string ensemble. The spirited music of the band created a stirring atmos- phere at football and basketball games. The orchestra was an integral part of every convocation and climaxed the years' activities with a beautiful spring recital of concert music. The string ensemble provided soft, mellow background music for banquets, programs and social gatherings throughout the community. Even during the absence of lllr. Regis these activities carried on under their student directors, Mae Ruth Pietila and Donald Niemi. o 41
