Their first play, Let Mr Come Bark, proclaimed a hit by faculty and students alike. It was later presented for night school graduation exercises. The organization named the Alpha Sigma Rho because it included stu- dents interested in acting, stage management and rhetoric. Spring meant house-cleaning for the grand opening of Alpha attic in the Washington building which featured three one-act plays, The Unxeen, The Bin! on Nellie? Hal, and Mifzd over Maller.. These were directed, acted and managed by thc entire membership.

Girls from junior and senior high school meet once a week to practice their swimming and diving techniques. Q, SENIOR CLASS PLAY-The senior class play, The Late Christopher Bean, presented on lVIay 19, was a creditable piece of humor by Sidney Howard. 'lihis drama was exceptionally amusing, clever, and hilar- ious, yet beneath it all lay the interesting, complicated lives of the Haggett family and their maid, the lovable and simple Abby. Excellent portrayals were played of every character in the script by the senior cast. Ending with a gay twist that left the audience pleasantly surprised, the play was indeed a success. i e 'Wx DEBATING-Our debaters studied numerous plans for post war organizations in order to acquaint themselves with the proposition: Resolved, f'That the United States should join in reconstituting the League of Nationsf' Memhers of the district tournament te.nn were Martin Haley and Barahzira Wangensteen who argued hoth pro and con on the question.
