If e A ll Our classes are in step with the times. We learn how to make last years dresses look like Vogue creations and make an appetxzing meal from left-overs. In defense training we are taught the fundamentals of home nursing and of nutrition, the rules of water safety, and the technique of life saving. Always willing to help, the art classes brighten our corridors and class rooms, make favors, design program covers, in short, serve to decorate and beautify at almost every turn of the road. The commercial classes set high standards in speed and accuracy which will enable girls in typing and shorthand classes to assume good positions as secretaries and stenog- raphers upon graduation. Already some girls from these classes have appointments in the Navy department in Washington, D. C. Volunteers for work in Mr. Churchill's office as office assistants are gaining practical experience in typing and filing and-seta fine example of service for the school.

Missing: Johnson. 242 if To lnform--To Entertain PUBLICATIONS STAFF - The Ranger and Bluestreak staff worked overtime this year to put out the annual, the Ranger, and our school gad-about, the Bluestreak. Things kept humming down in the Ranger office as our paper met its monthly deadline. Every week news-hawks published their HiLights column which kept the public informed in regard to school activities in the Chisholm Herald-Tribune. Later this column was taken over by juuior appren- tices as the journalism students devoted their time to the Ranger.
