Students Enjoy Assemblies
Most of our days in school are spent in classrooms so
assembly programs furnish a welcome break in the every-
day routine of our lives.
Assembly programs are interesting to the student audience
and they also furnish many students opporttuiities to plan
programs and to speak and perform in them.
One way we get to know our A. F. S. Student for the year is in
Two of our most impressive assemblies are those presented
at Christmas and at Easter by the Student Cotmcil.
Something new this spring was a morning concert by the
C.H.S. Band, Everyone will remember the tremendous
applause when the band, accompanied by Judy Young, did
the theme from "The Apartment. "
And of course the biggest thrill of all this year was watching
the space shot on TV.
