"Coon" was a great passer, a fine ball carrier and an excellent defen- sive man. Bill was selected on the Post Herald and Montgomery Advertiser 3rd team all-state selection. RALPH ALLEN: 6 ft., 160 pounds. At end Ralph was most effective at pass receiving. He was outstanding when it came to faking off a halfback and get- ting behind him. BILLY FANNIN: 5 ft. 8 in., 160 pounds. Billy would have been a great guard if he had not received a leg in- jury. FRANK TINNEY: 5 ft. 9 in., 180 pounds. Although out-weighed at times Frank was a hard man to move from his tackle positiong he was a hard block- er. OCIE GRIER: 5 ft. 85 in., 160 pounds. Ocie had played only two years, but he did a grand job of playing his guard position. JIMMY SAXON: 5 ft. 105 in., 155 pounds. .Timmy had very little experience but he made up for it by playing as hard as possible at all tirnesg he was a hard man to get along with at his guard posi- tion.
