ADMINISTRATION J. WILLIAM RIDEN PRINCIPAL A principal's general concern. 7 Student Body: The halls of Chief Logan are the pulse of our student body. They vi- brate with emotional currents, throb with excitement, and beat with youth- ful gaiety. In the corridors friends exchange brief confidences, and display school spirit. Scholars speak of successes and difficulties with assignments. It is here that many loyalties and friendships have their inception. The perceptive observer imme- diately s e n s e s the student-facul- ty-administration relationships, the student population's respect for au- thority and the degree of self-dis- cipline to wh ic h our students have risen. In the magic moments before the first bell, attitudes of schoolmates are conveyed and the mood for day established. As our boys and girls jou rne y through the halls of Chief Logan from seventh to twelfth grade a growing maturity and self-control are evi- dent. Physical growth has been ac- companied by intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual advancement. May the friendships formed here, the good citizenship qualities achiev- ed here, and the many-faceted abili- ties acquired here continue to pros- per long afte r commencement and that true, enduring values will guide your journey on life's artery. J. WILLIAM RIDEN PRINCIPAL

To You: Through the halls of time mortals move who achieve immortality during their lifetime. Their fame continues for centuries, if the accomplishment is unusually worthy. ADMINISTRATION You ask how they achieve lasting fame . . . It comes to the ones who diligently pursue supreme goals which are elusive much of the time. If you are courageous enough to establish an elusive goal, you must also be perseverant enough to reach your goal. The fleetness with which time passes is one enemy to the ac- complishment of goals. Does this suggest to you that it's later than you think ? Roy D. Wilson, Supervising Principal R. D. WILSON SUPERVISING PRINCIPAL Mr. Wilson enters his office to work for better education. 6
