Wliaa 'Elootball O5 '56 Lynn Bloom places the banner across the shoulders of the queen. The third annual football- queen dance, s nsored by the Hi-Y, was helcrgn Saturday, September 29, I956. John Manbeck, President of the Hi-Y, served as Master of Ceremonies, and introduced Pati Van Art, football queen of l955, Lynn Bloom, Disc-iockey from W.K.V.A., and announced the results of the contest. Pati Van Art crowned Evelyn Sikorsky Miss Football Queen of 1956, and Lynn Bloom placed the Miss Football banner across her shoulders. - Mar Grace Dalb was Maid of Honor, and Margaret Parker and Betty Reese were her attend ants. The members oly the Hi-Y selected the candidates and the students attending the affair elected the queen. - The Chief Logan Seven with vocalist Gary Fultz provided music for the gala occasion.
