The band held joint concerts with Charlestown in the fall and it took part in many other activities through- out the year such as the P. T. A. Min- strel Show, the Christmas Concert, the Spring Concert and several parades. The officers elected by the band members this year are as follows: President, Katherine Jewettg vice-pres- ident, Charles Nason, secretary, Ecl- ward Bacong treasurer, Ralph Stoddard. Edward Bacon was student director. Kay Jewett, Ralph Stoddard, Neoma Bowen, Joan Gilson, Barbara Sawtelle, and Caroline Jewett represented C. H. S. at the New England Music Festival which was held in New Britain, Con- necticut. Eight members attended the Ver- mont Music Festival for three days, and the complete band went for one day.
