The Student Council was kept quite busy with the suggestions from their fellow students. Some things discussed were having Prom held in Sioux Falls, but after careful consideration it was decided to be held in Chester as usual. The Seniors brought up the idea that Seniors should be first in the lunch line. This was dis- cussed and approved by the council. Also brought to the Council's attention was that if a class was plan- ning a Sock-Hop they should notify the office one week or more ahead of time. This was discussed and agreed upon. The freshman and Sophomores wanted tumbling out of their P.E. schedule, but it was also discussed and decided against. Some more of the sug- gestions were Speaker at Graduation, Student Lounge, and Open Campus. 19
