Valentine's Day Blazing forth with a special glow, fcast celebrated another happy Valentine's day. The red hearts sat high on the walls of A wing and the multicolored carnations brought smiles to the cougars' bright faces. But what's a holiday without food? Appropriately, a Cupid dart game solved the problem with a pizza given to anyone who could spell CUPID (with darts, of course V So the marksmen took their aim. the carnations brightened the halls and the hidden hearts added a new twist to the frolic-filled holiday. A very appropriate holiday cul- minated in a very bright and colorful day in the Cou- gar's lair. 66

Eosr On Parade In a brilliant display of extra-cur ricular creativity. East paraded into the world beyond the classroom. With such projects as computer program- ming. musical entertainment, physical education, and foreign foods, the Cougars demonstrated the inherent drive toward recognition of talent. A Cougar without special talent is in complete. Each contributes his share to the advancement of his school. Learning assumes many forms, all in- teresting and exciting.
