Nothing Ever Goes As Planned mind you. but a deep muddy one, sort of like one made by an old covered wagon on a road of quicksand. First, the sophomores and Spirit week. Yeah, we know they’re spirited brats, but we re Seniors! Then we thought we could make amends by challenging the juniors to a Powder Puff Football game. Yeah, we know they're a little slow, but we re Seniorsl Then, our barbarque! Too bad wet coals don't burn well. Twas a pity though, all those raw hamburgers. All of a sudden, when blackness seemed abysmal, we pulled yourselves out. We’d have thought it impossible, but there's something about the senior's body chemistry. Maybe it was adrenalin, but whatever it was. it worked. The class trip was a roaring success, achieving distances beyond any achieved before. Finally, the blood drive. Valentine’s Day and the Senior Prom helped give the year a sense of success. Sinking In Spirit Week . . . Y And Then Come Powder Puff Problems . . . I think we're in trouble | ir • X Too bad the juniors really did do it betterl ’Cause nothing ever goes as planned It’s a helluva notion Even Pharoahs turn to sand Like a drop in the ocean You’re so together and you act so civilized But every time that things go wrong, you’re still surprised You've done your duty and paid a fortune in dues Still got those Mother Nature's Blues -STYX Bur As Always, The Class Of '82 Comes Through! s i 205
