T , - , J 7 r ' ' YY 'VY YV YY - ' 7 dlsease wh1ch made everyone wave h1s hand contmually Of course the arrlval of our class r1ngs m1ght have been the cause Suspense was the keynote of our play N1ght of January lb whxch fe xtured a court trlal Some very amusmg character portrayals were presented The spectacular of th1s year both ln effort and 1n result was the prom The theme Cherry Blossom T1me H1 Washlngton was carr1ed out by murals of Washlng ton palnted on the walls a repl1ca of the Capltol on the stage and cherry blossom trees around the walls Over all wafted the scent of lllacs from the blossom covered ce1l1ng Channel 56 focused on graduatlon and the trxp as our sen1or year commenced Top b1ll1ng was awarded Presldent Ken Ha1st V1ce Presldent Ed Walker Secretary Glenn We1r Treasurer John Leeth and Student COUHC11 Representat1ves Reuben Lesser B111 Harrls and Arlene Paxton Behmd the scene workers were Mr Young and Mrs Schultz Money ra1s1ng agam key noted the show as students pounded doors selllng maga zmes sponsored a publ1c ham supper operated the sen1or stand sold potato chlps and rmlk at noon and collected scrap metal Several members of the class were selected to serve on the re orgamzed annual staff The entlre class co operated IH sell1ng subscr1pt1ons After months of plannmg wardrobes and savmg money the long awa1ted New York tr1p arr1ved and too fast was over The f1nal program on Channel 56 was Crossroads our long awa1ted gradua txon 21
