Graduation' Our officers were, Captain CPres1dentJ Donald Baldwm, Executive Officer Wice Presldentl Jim Miller Ch1ef Yeoman QSecretaryJ Patsy Mohrlock, and Paymaster fTreasurerl Paul Nlehaus Douglas Vogal and Rita Gross were our Student Council Representatives f tglctober 27 was the long awaited day of 1n1t1at1on It was rugged but then we were true members o the eet During the course of the year we were in command of the Seventh War Loan Drive We enter tamed ourselves at a class Christmas party and also entertained the Sophomores w1th a return party on May 4 We took three months leave in June and returned in the fall of 45 to begin our second years cruise under the leadership of Lyle Chenoweth and Capta1nfCPres1dentJ Doug Vogel, Executive Officer Wice PresldentJ Richard Carlson Ch1ef Yeoman QSecretaryJ Paul Niehaus and Paymaster QTreasurerJ SonJa Weatherwax Our Student Council Representatives were Rita Gross and Iim Mlller The new members of the fleet were lmtxated by us on May 4 1945 We took charge of provldmg entertainment at the Christmas party and we became famous for unique pep meeting which we presented durmg the year There was much enthusiasm and excltment over the task of ordering our class rmgs The fall of 46 saw us again underway, working hard to earn money for the big event The junior Senior Receptlon This work mcluded selling boxes of assorted cards and plastic bags all shlpmates co operated in making and carrying out our plans for a pot luck supper for the High School and Umversity High students on january 24 We met with success in all our undertakings under the able leadership of Mr Donald Tewes Miss Mary Lou Larson and our Captain CPres1dentJ Agnes Forner Executive Officer Nice Presidentl Mary Paul, Chief Yeoman fSecretaryl Kathleen Eschelbach' Paymaster fTreasurer Paul N1ehaus, and our Student Council Representatives Donald Baldwin and Kathleen Eschelbach Our pep meetings this year as before were 1udges to be some of the best The Class play The Missing Witness was presented on March 21 and proved to be a great success The fmal and most important event of the year was our junior Sen1or Reception Our ship docked at the Hawauan Islands on the evemng of May 30 We were met there by nine lovely Hawaiian dancers After a huge banquet we were taken to the beach where Del E1l1ot's Orchestra played for moonhght dancmg, and so this year s cruise ended We were very proud of our achievements and looked forward with great ant1c1pat1on to both fun and hard work on our fmal cruise The fall of 47 began with a bang We met w1th great success in our magazines sales during was the most of any class C High school in the country Officers Captain CPres1dentJ Agnes Forner Executive Officer Wice President! Donald Baldwm Chief Yeoman fSecretaryJ Rita Gross and Paymaster QTreasurerJ Wllma Paul acted as leaders of the teams of our drive We elected as our Student Council Representatives for the year Lyle Chriswell and Sonya Weatherwax Our play was presented on December 10 Miss jane Kompass did a splendid Job of directing and we thought our efforts were well worthwhile The efforts of the crew were well rewarded by a lovely four day trip to Nxagara Falls and Toronto, Canada W X' Ruth and Sonya X LA, K-N wif' V' K ki NX wilt ll s-L59 9 Alu, ' . 4 . . . 4 , .
