They honor their fellow classmates with the naming of Superlatives and presented awards by the faculty. Classnight is a time to reflect upon the last twelve years as classmates and to begin to cherish those memories as they draw to a close. It is a time when the Senior class is together to share those memories with us. As they face graduation and the culmination of twelve years of schooling the class the class has a night of light heartedness and laughter. 18 Seniors

VALEDICTORIAN and SALUTATORIAN JOHN ARTHUR McALLISTER was named valedictorian of the senior class of 1987-88 with a grade point average of 4.0. John was president of the Freshmen and Sophomore classes, Vice-president of the Interact Club, a member of the Varsity football team, JV basketball team, and Varsity baseball team. He was also a member of the National Honor Society. Upon graduating, he received the Lions Club Scholarship and was elected Best All Around Boy RYAN McLANTIE RODGERS was named salutatorian of the senior class of 1987-88 with a grade point average of 3.7. Ryan was vice-president of the Senior Class, a member of the Brain Brawl Team, the Florida High School Academic Team, a member of ;the National Honor Society. Ryan was also awarded ;the American Legion Citizenship Award, Who’s Who in American High School Students, the Society of Distinguished American High School Students, the School of Pride Award for Social Studies, the Rotary Scholarship, and the CHS Alumni Association Scholarship. He attended Boy’s State and was a member of the Interact Club. SENIORS 17
