VALEDICTORIAN and SALUTATORIAN JOHN ARTHUR McALLISTER was named valedictorian of the senior class of 1987-88 with a grade point average of 4.0. John was president of the Freshmen and Sophomore classes, Vice-president of the Interact Club, a member of the Varsity football team, JV basketball team, and Varsity baseball team. He was also a member of the National Honor Society. Upon graduating, he received the Lions Club Scholarship and was elected Best All Around Boy RYAN McLANTIE RODGERS was named salutatorian of the senior class of 1987-88 with a grade point average of 3.7. Ryan was vice-president of the Senior Class, a member of the Brain Brawl Team, the Florida High School Academic Team, a member of ;the National Honor Society. Ryan was also awarded ;the American Legion Citizenship Award, Who’s Who in American High School Students, the Society of Distinguished American High School Students, the School of Pride Award for Social Studies, the Rotary Scholarship, and the CHS Alumni Association Scholarship.
