We Have Togetherness Even though the Seniors had their own indi- vidual interests, they also had a sense of togeth- erness. Seniors on the football team played to- gether as a unit. Senior band members performed as a family. Seniors walked into pep rallies with hands raised and fingers pointed up and shouted, Seniors, Seniors . .. We’re number one! Seniors also showed togetherness by being with special friends. Their efforts literally lit up the countryside. Many celebrated by burying - their kerosene lantern, and many a tear of joy was shed when rural families saw emancipation from a life of near-drudgery marching up the road in the form of utility poles. But the job of rural electrication is never finished. There’s always one more pole to set, one more substa- tion to be improved, one more new customer to be hooked up, one more meeting of our consumer-mem- bers to assess the past and face the future.
