Ricky McKee and Todd DeVone wrote Santa Searches for Truth and Wisdom for the annual Christmas program. The story evolved around 'Tow spirited Santo trying to make his life exciting by seeking the advice of Guru Willie. Santa viewed these different lifestyles, the life of a hoodlum, (which didn't work out), the life of a boxer (the sight of blood would not do), and the life of a movie star (pressures were too great). The journalism class spon- sored Spirit Week, October 25-29, to promote spirit for the Chat- tahoochee - Sneads football gome. During the week, jour- nalism students sold links of o paper chain for five cents. The homeroom with the longest choin, 12-A, was declared the winner ot the October 29rh pep roily. The Journalism class presented their annual play to the student body on December 7. Three plots were used to promote yearbook sales. The first skit was a spin-off of The Price Is Right”. The second skit was taken from the tv program ''Fame” and the third was taken from portions of Hee-Haw”. Between each skit, the students presented various commercials including the Midday Report. The program was presented to boost yearbook sales.
